Language is a means of enunciation and the main tool of communication process, reporting and understanding. It is the reservoir of ideas, feelings and emotions, and the instrument of thought. It is by which human lived his past, communicates with his present and foresees his future. Language plays a vital role in the process of communication which through technologies gains paramount importance, particularly in the cultural and educational domains. We are currently living under a digital technological advancement that opens wide horizons for communication among peoples, overcoming the obstacles of isolation, time and distance. Peoples interact collectively, which resulted in ease of access to sources of knowledge and information, and hence the whole universe has become a global technological village. The wide spread of internet and the diversify of social media as rapid and instant means helped the world to meet and communicate with each other.
The digital revolution constitutes a scientific progress whose repercussions extend to all aspects of modern life, and formulated new patterns of the actuality. Being the vessel of thought and communication among cultures and the most important tool of communication among people with their different races, their intellectual, ideological inclinations, languages have been influenced by this tremendous technological development and the finite flow of knowledge.
One of the consequences of the digital environment is the development which took place in language and communication. Language was radically affected by the changes imposed by the digital revolution. It is facing challenges equivalent to the potentials granted by digitization, and these changes have been reflected in the educational environment, the means of communication and media.
